I traveled from bakersfield ca to L.A. First i like to say i researched before i made a decision to come to dr black. The receptionist gave me a hard time the moment i walked in the door. She would began this long journey of scheduling my appointments so far apart. I looked over it because her issue was not going to be my problem. I was determined and proud dr black was working on my teeth. You see i never had a black dentist work on my teeth so i thought it would be wonderful and he was going to hook a sista up. Unfortunately 5 months into to this journey and i only have on tooth done. I was able to get 2 root canel that saved my teeth thank you dr black but one crown. My visit for the molding was only for two teeth. You see i paid out pocket and receptionist only had me down for one.. Basically she schedules me how she wants to and my procedures. I would say all the molding could have been done at one time. As im explaining to dr black that we discussed two lower bridge crowns for each side lower jaw it made sense to mold everything at once but NOOOO. DID I MENTION THE HELPER DROPPED SOME MATERIAL ON THE FLOOR PICKED IT UP WIPED IT OFF AND PUT IT ON THE TRAY?? YEA I Was Done! Soooo on 7/9/2021 i returned again to get the crown put on because i only paid for one and the molding for my crown bridges did not get done because i did not pay for half of what he was charging..this is where my decision was confirmed. (I prayed after i saw her drop that syringe on the floor pick it up wipe it off..(Yes i saw) and set it back on the tray and walked in another room with a patient yes the same tray they used with me. ?? OMG!) I did not pay the atmosphere change dr black the receptionist was unhappy she had to reschedule me she wanted to tell me she's not scheduling until i pay half of what my work cost. Now the reason i say this we schedule for 7/15/2021 i was to bring all the money get the moldings and everybody would have been fine. I called in and rescheduled receptionist said this to me. "In order for me to schedule you you have to pay all the money you can bring it in or how you want to do it." Mind you im in bakersfield. I hung up in her face. She called back i did not answer. I felt disrespected. i finally called back and told her i will not be using dr black service thank him he did a great job on one teeth. she said was it something the front office did. I had no words after that. I hung up and felt a release off me..moore happened but made it short as possible. I was time for me to take my money and move on.
